Today I wanted to learn how to add a Google search bar onto a website I was learning to build. I didn't want to build my own as it's time consuming. I thought this may be the same situation for other people who don't want to pay a web developer to create a search tab on their website. So, I thought i'd share the code I used with you!
If you want a Google search bar, such as this one, then simply add this code to your website.
Your search box will actually search the web, unlike the one abov
The Code
There is a code provided by Google for a free search bar on your website. The code is below. You would place this code into your website to get your free Google search bar, although remember to remove your red dots (they just stop the blog reading the code).

<.....script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.google.co.uk/cse/brand?form=cse-search-box&lang=en">......>
Here's the code as it should be... without the red dots.

I think that you may be reading my mind! I was looking for the exact same thing just the other day. Thank you for this post. I usually don't like to post anything on my site that may take traffic away, but this tool is one that will be useful on certain pages within my website.
